How Much Does Digital Marketing Cost in Egypt in 2026

Aug 25, 20266 min read

Ask five agencies in Cairo what digital marketing costs and you'll get five different numbers, because the question itself is incomplete. What actually drives the price isn't the service name, it's the scope: how much content gets produced, how much ad spend gets managed, and how many channels are running at once.

Retainer-based management

Most agencies in Egypt charge a monthly management fee separate from ad spend, typically running from a few thousand to tens of thousands of Egyptian pounds depending on scope. A single-platform, light-content package sits at the low end; a multi-channel setup with weekly content production, paid ads across Meta and Google, and monthly reporting sits at the high end. Ad spend itself is a separate line, and an agency managing your budget doesn't usually mark it up, but confirm this explicitly before signing.

Production costs scale with what you actually need

A single photo or short-form video shoot costs far less than a full brand film with a crew, multiple locations, and post-production. Many businesses overspend early by commissioning a cinematic brand film before they have proof that paid ads convert, when a leaner content package would validate the channel first.

What's usually missing from a quote

Ask specifically whether the number includes ad spend, content production, paid tool subscriptions, and revision rounds. Quotes that look cheap on paper often exclude two or three of these and surface them as add-ons later. A transparent agency will break the number down into these components rather than giving one bundled figure.

The real question isn't the lowest price, it's cost per result

A retainer that reliably produces qualified leads is cheaper, in the only sense that matters, than a lower retainer that produces reach and little else. Before agreeing to a number, ask what result it's expected to produce and how that result will be measured, since that's the number that actually determines whether the spend was worth it.
